Common Beliefs

Members of the Temple share many common beliefs, some of which are listed below:

  • Belief in reincarnation
  • Both masculine and feminine aspects of the Divine.
  • Equal respect for not only humans, but for the Earth, animals and plants.
  • A deep respect for Mother Earth, for it is she who supports all life.
  • The changing seasons are marked by the eight solar Sabbats.
  • Wiccans do not proselytize.  People become Wiccan only by choice.
  • Men and women are equal, complimentary and both are necessary.
  • Education is highly valued, encouraged and pursued throughout life.
  • The Magickal Circle is a sacred space used for worship.
  • We do not own the Earth, we are merely its stewards.
  • Wiccans value all religions and religious freedom.
  • Wiccans appreciate diversity and all races.
  • Wiccans strive to be upstanding citizens.
