Common Beliefs Members of the Temple share many common beliefs, some of which are listed below: 1.     Belief in reincarnation. 2.     Both masculine and feminine aspects of the Divine. 3.     Equal respect for not only humans, but for the Earth, animals and plants. 4.     A deep respect for Mother Earth, for it is she who supports all life. 5.     The changing seasons are marked by the eight solar Sabbats. 6.     Wiccans do not proselytize.  People become wiccans only by choice. 7.     Men and women are equal, complimentary and both are necessary. 8.     Education is highly valued, encouraged and pursued throughout life. 9.     The Magickal Circle is a sacred space used for worship. 10.   We do not own the Earth, we are merely its stewards. 11.   Wiccans value all religions and religious freedom. 12.   Wiccans appreciate diversity and all races. 13.   Wiccans strive to be upstanding citizens.
